This was taken the day I had it done. It’s art by a band called Modest Mouse, who helped me through a very hard time in my life.

The design represents stasis;the balloon will never go up or down. Every time I get over a problem, another one seems to pop up.

I got my flower skull tattoo at Eternal Ink in Buffalo, NY. My artist, Bill, was excited to do this but he admitted that it was a challenge. I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful tattoo, I’ll love it forever and ever.
